JMP Charitable Management Services
Services and Literature for Charities
Resources for the charity. Our literature encompasses
CRTs from beginning to end - planning, design and administration - and
runs the gamut of need from expert to intermediate to beginner. We can
help train the beginning staffer and help the seasoned planned giving
officer stay current and innovative. Even our 1700 page reference edition
can travel wherever the planned giving officer goes with a lap top.
Planning major gifts. We are research and planning specialists providing practical books and reduced-rate retainer programs that combine literature and
client-specific research assistance.
Marketing for charities. Increasingly, charities realize that to reach donors, they need to reach donor's advisors. With our resources, the charity can
distinguish itself among the many voices asking for gifts, while educating advisors who are often reluctant to consider charitable vehicles and who rarely
understand why the CRT can be so advatageous in the right circumstances.
The CRT R&D library keeps the charity's name before the advisor on a recurring basis and at the right time. The Reference Edition's "Profiles of Potential
Candidates" helps the advisor identify clients that should consider CRTs. The Reference Edition's Tax Guidelines to IRS Model Agreements is a unique aid
to help the attorney review the agreement for compliance with the tax rules.
The Reference Edition contains extensive present value presentations and discussion to help the
financial planner and CPA understand the math. It contains sample returns and checklists - a unique resource for the CPA -
the only specialized administration resource of its kind to our knowledge.
Writing / Web services. We offer a standardized
package of content for a charity's Planned Giving web site, as well
as customized writing services for web sites and newsletters, including
planning ideas to encourage repeat traffic. The standardized package
is about 25 pages. Excerpts are not on the web site.
Trust administration. We provide accounting, tax returns and trust reporting, allowing the charity the comfort of knowing the details are in the care of
specialists.
The Reference Edition contains sample returns and other resources for the in-house administrator.
