These materials are for use in PDF (Adobe Acrobat). Most subscribers should disregrad the WordPerfect files.

Links Licenses are PDF only. If you save the files to your computer, it will avoid "modem" time when you next retrieve the book. Also, when your password ceases to be active, it will no longer be possible to retrieve the file. You buy the file, and so have the "book," not just the ability to look at the text on screen for the period of the password. You have the right to keep the "book" on your computer or store it to storage device, and print excerpts. You could even print the entire text if you wanted.


The PDF version requires an Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Acrobat Reader is free and can be downloaded and installed from Adobe.com (Plug-ins and updates). If you have installed the Acrobat Reader but it does not have a search engine, you may need to uninstall the earlier version and install the latest version.

If you have Acrobat Reader on your computer, you simply use your password to access the books and or materials within this Web site through the CRT R&D Library gateway. The book or other materials should come up on your computer.

If the book comes up in your Web browser, the book may be read and navigated within your browser, but the ability to navigate the file is enhanced if you name and save the file via the Acrobat Reader icon for save file, then pull the file up in the Acrobat Reader. When installed, the Acrobat Reader should be an icon on your icon window of programs.

Tips on navigating within the Acrobat Reader:

The Table of Contents becomes visible on the left side of the screen if you click the Show/Hide Navigation icon. This is hyperlinked so a click takes the reader instantly to that heading.

To find a page: Control N, type page #.
Control N may not work unless you are out of your browser.

The square between the up and down indicators on the far right of the screen turns pages quickly.

The binoculars icon brings up the search function.

You'll find the Acrobat Reader user-friendly and fast.
